New Delhi, Oct 5 (IANS): Airline major Jet Airways on Monday slashed fares on its international network by up to 30 percent on base fare, under a six-day special discount offer.

The six-day discount fare is on offer between October 5 and 10, 2015, for travel starting from Oct 5 onwards on all Jet Airways direct and aligned flights with Etihad Airways.

According to the company, the scheme is valid on economy and premiere fares for travel to destinations in the Gulf, SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation), ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations), Europe, the US and Canada.

"Jet Airways’ guests can now avail this very attractive global fares offer to plan their international travel and experience our airlines' exceptional services, unmatched global network, flexible schedules and enhanced connectivity," Gaurang Shetty, senior vice president, commercial with Jet Airways, was quoted in a statement.

The company added that the offer is also valid for travel in conjunction with Etihad flights from its Abu Dhabi gateway for Middle East, Europe, North America and Australia.
