Hero unveils its first indigenous scooters


New Delhi, Sep 30 (IANS): Leading two-wheeler major Hero MotoCorp on Tuesday unveiled two 110 cc scooters, Maestro Edge and Duet, completely developed in-house with its own technology.

"These new products (Maestro Edge and Duet) are a testimony to our ongoing efforts to create a world class R&D eco-system that will create products from India, for the world," said Hero MotoCorp chairman Pawan Munjal in a statement.

Maestro Edge is scheduled to be available from October 13 and will be available in two variants, LX starting from Rs.49,500 and VX at Rs.50,700 (Both ex-showroom Delhi) while Duet's market launch will follow later, the statement said.
