Mangalore, Jul 16: National Cadet Corps (NCC) 5 Karnataka Naval Wing has been organizing an advanced training cum orientation camp for the NCC Cadets who fall under the jurisdiction of Mangalore University.

According to the press release, the camp will be held in different places within the city. The training schedule consists of training in swimming, rowing, signaling, and march-past and firing. 

The said training is being coordinated by training officer Radhakrishnan and is supervised by group commander Col J S Rawat. Nearly 600 cadets are participating in this on going two-month long camp.

The successful cadets will be selected for the 'South India Nau Sainik Camp, stated the press release.
