Karkala, Jul 14: In a collision between a car and a truck at Miyar Kunjathbail, three people were seriously injured and hospitalized in a private hospital here, on Saturday July 14.
They have been identified as Govind Pai (75), his wife Sitabai (69) and their relative Akshata A Pai (19), residents of Hospet in Bellary district.
According to the sources, the car was carrying pilgrims to Dharmasthala when it met with the accident at Miyar Kunjathbail. The Govind Pai family had gone to Bhatkal to attend the wedding of their relative at Bhatkal.
They had extended their journey to visit Dharmastala pilgrimage centre, before meeting with the accident.
