Sydney, Jul 12: Akshay Kumar had the entire unit of Heyy Baby in splits recently when he played a prank on his co-star Vidya Balan. Akshay posed as a radio jockey and conducted a telephonic interview with Vidya, who failed to see through the joke and answered all his questions patiently.

Major part of Heyy Baby is shot in Australia. So during the shoot when Vidya got a call from a local radio channel asking for an interview with the radio jockey having a strong Punjabi accent, Vidya was surprised.

The interview went on for a good 20 minutes or so consisting of many questions about Vidya's debut film to Heyy Baby to her career and her personal life.

The RJ (in this case Akshay) told Vidya that the interview would be aired in 15 minutes and that she should listen to it.

It is only after seeing Vidya wait for her interview to be aired, sitting in front of the radio, did Akshay pity her and told her the truth. Akshay had thought that Vidya would see through the prank, but she didn't.

Poor Vidya waited for the interview to come on air but when she discovered that it was a prank and everyone was laughing at her while she was very embarrassed.

"Filmmaking may seem very easy but it gets taxing at times. We work together for days especially on outdoors. It's like one big family. With pressures looming large, one needs to release steam and what better way than to laugh it off?" said Akshay.
