Malavoor Gram Panchayat: The ward meet of the first ward of Malavoor village, will be held at the Samrat Ashoka Chakravarthi Sabha Bhavan at 10 am on Thursday July 12.

Karnataka State Handicrafts Development Corporation Limted (KSHDC): The inauguration of the new showroom “Cauvery”, Karnataka State Arts and Crafts Emporium will be done by the deputy commissioner M Maheshwar Rao, district social welfare officer Dr B Narasimha Murthy will be the chief guest. Inaugural ceremony will be held at the B R Ambedkar Bhavan near PVS circle, Kudmal Ranga Rao road, Kodialbail on Thursday July 12 at 10.30 am.

Malavoor Gram Panchayat: The ward meet of the second ward of Malavoor Kenjar, at Shri Devi Bhajana Mandir, Karambaru between 2.30 pm and 4 pm.

Regional Training College of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mangalore (NABARD): Silver jubilee celebrations of the NABARD will be held today at 11 am, at Manjusha Building above Auto Matrix show room, Bejai Church Road. B. Sambamurthy, chairman of Corporation Bank will be the chief guest. 

Sri Krishna Math: Religious discourse will be conducted by scholars, at Rajangana, Udupi at 5.30 pm.

Dental education programme: Yenepoya Dental College, Mangalore will organize a programme on dental eduction on the theme “Correction of secondary deformities in cleft lip/palate” on Saturday, 14 July. Inauguration will be done by Al-Haj Y. Abdulla Kunhi, chairman of the Islamic Academy of Education. Speakers on the occasion will be eminent doctors from the fields of maxillofacial surgery.

Educational programme: Students of the Islamic Organisations of India (IOI) will organize a seminar on the subject “Towards value based education” on Friday, July 13 as per their press release. Mohammad Kunhi, administrator, Shanti Prakashana, Mangalore, will be presiding over the function.

Screening of documentary: The academy award winning documentary’an Inconvinient Truth’ dealing with issues of global warming will be screened at the Eric Mathias hall in St Aloysius College on July 13, at 5.30 pm. This is being organized by the St. Aloysius College Alumni/ae Association as per the press release statement.
