Emmy nominee flaunts India-born designer's work


Los Angeles, Sep 21 (IANS): American actress-singer Jane Krakowski, who was nominated in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series category of the 67th Emmy Awards, opted for an off-shoulder gown, designed by India-born Bibhu Mohapatra, who is based in New York.

Mohapatra, who specialises in women's luxury wear, especially day wear and evening wear, shared a photograph of Krakowski wearing his creation.

“Best Supporting actress nominee janekrakowski in @bibhumohapatra #Resort16 silk Barthea gown…,” the designer, whose creation was previously sported by US First Lady Michelle Obama, tweeted.

The 67th Emmy Primetime Awards took place on Sunday here.

Krakowski lost the award to Allison Janney who took home an Emmy for "Mom".
