Mumbai, Jul 10: Luv Sinha , son of actor-politician Shatrughan Sinha is ready to step into Bollywood.

Yet another star son is lured by the glitz and glamour of tinsel town. Luv Sinha, a young and handsome lad, will make his acting debut in a film to be produced by his papa’s company Shotgun Entertainment.

In fact, Shatrughan Sinha is taking deep interest in launching his son in Bollywood. It is reported that Shatrughan has himself finalized the film’s script and has decided upon the director, too.

Luv Sinha says he has been preparing himself arduously for the task of an actor. He has been learning acting from his father’s teacher Roshan Taneja. Dance expert Deepak Rawat has taught Luv dancing.

The young newcomer is now hopeful that people will appreciate his talent and recognize him for it rather than see him just as the son of Shatrughan Sinha.

Luv says being the son of an actor is a blessing, but it also puts a lot of pressure on him because he has to “live upto the high standards” set by his dad.

These boys and girls are into the films because they have had a springboard to catapult due to their fathers and mothers being filmstars in Bollywood. They are basking in the sun by just reflecting their fathers' or mothers' glory. Had this not been the case, they would have found it very difficult to even enter the portals of the Film City at Goregaon.

Except for budget or art films, the quality of films produced by Bollywood, to put it bluntly, is trash and does not get any entry in international film festivals, except may be some local film awards, i.e. Filmfare Awards which does not carry any weight. For me, among the present lot, Om Puri and Naseerudin Shah are very good actors who, give them a serious script, put up a good performance. That is why they are much in demand in foreign films.
