Sullia, Jul 9: Education department officials conducted raid on English medium schools across the taluk recently.

The raid was conducted to check whether these schools strictly follow the government order. According to government order, they are allowed to teach English only from class VI. However, the raid was conducted since there were rumors that some schools are teaching English from class I itself, officials confirmed.

The officials have checked the school bags of the students, cupboards of the schools and answer papers of the students, to confirm whether the schools are violating government order, sources added.
