Mangalore, Jul 7: Four persons were injured in two separate road mishaps that took place at Nidigal and Dharmasthala near Ujire near here on Thursday July 5.

A lorry that was on its way to Nidle, lost its control owing to brake failure. As a result Sifa (14) and Mohammad Nawaz (13) who were walking by the road narrowly escaped sustaining minor injuries. Later the lorry rammed into the temple as driver lost control over it.

The cause for the accident at Nidigal too was almost similar. Owing to brake failure, the lorry entered into the house of Ramesh Kamat at 4 am. Babu and Robert who were sleeping inside house at the time of the accident sustained minor injuries.

All the four persons injured have been admitted to Benaka Hospital of Ujire.
