Mangalore, Jul 6: Aatmananda Swamiji of Sri Rama Kshetra will be enthroned on October 25 as he is being accepted as the pontiff of their clan by the 24 sects like Arya Idiga, Namadari and Billava, said Vikyananda Swamiji.

He was speaking at a press conference here on Friday February 6 morning. He said that Aatmananda Swamiji had gone to Shivagiri, the sacred abode of Brahmashri Narayana Guru, as a preparation of the coronation, and on the visit he was felicitated by the chief pontiff of the place Prakashananda Swamiji.

The programme of enthronement will be organized, inspired by the guidance of Brahmashri Narayana Guru who said “There is only one god, one religion and all men are equal. We should progress with the help of education. The differences among the people in the name of caste, religion and race should not be continued.”

Prakashananda Swamiji will arrive for enthronement along with Satyananda Swamiji, Ameyananada Swamiji, Vishuddananda Swamiji, Lokanatha Swamiji, Sampurnananda Swamiji, Prakashananda Swamiji, Parananda Swamiji, Vishwabodhi Swamiji, Sahajananda Swamiji and 50 other pontiffs, a press note stated.

They will officiate the enthronement and other rituals which will begin one week before the occasion, according to the release.

On this occasion the pontiff from Shringeri is likely to address the gathering, and Bala Gangadaranatha Swamiji is requested to attend the occasion 
 
N Mohanacharya, Chittaranjan, trustee of Sri Rama Kshethra, N Padmanaba, Rtd DFO, Devdas, trustee of Sri Rama Kshethra and Mohan Ujjodi were present at the press meet.
