Kundapur, Jul 5: G Madhava Kharvi was felicitated on the eve of his retirement recently under the joint auspices of the primary fishermen’s cooperative society of Gangolli and its staff association.

Presiding over the function K Naga Kharvi the honorary president was all in praise for the efficient, sincere and disciplined service rendered by G Madhava Kharvi. He further commended the other staff members of the society to emulate the retiring official so that it would go a long way to all round development of the society and in lessening the burden of responsibility of the members of the administrative council.

K Rathnakara Kharvi, the senior director of the society spoke on the occasion. The services by G Madhava Kharvi as a clerk in the beginning and later in the course of forty years of his service as an accountant, then a manager and at last as a secretary in-charge were recalled and commended to the existing staff to emulate.

G Madhava Kharvi in reply to the felicitation said that he was grateful t his colleagues for their cooperation and help in discharging his official duties.

K Keshav Kharvi compered the programme and B Neela Mendon proposed the vote of thanks.
