Puttur, Jul 4: The police have arrested the proprietor of areca processing unit in the town in connection with the murder of his employee Anand Shenoy.
The proprietor of Vijaya Supari, Pattadka Rama Bhat was arrested on the basis of the complaint lodged by his brother Krishna Shenoy. The latter has stated that his brother Anand Shenoy was found dead in suspicious circumstances in a hospital here, on Monday Jul 2. The police have arrested Balasubrahmanya Bhat, manager of the centre and Jayant, employee in this regard earlier.
Police concluded that it was a murder case, since they found 43 wounds on his body. With this the number of arrested has reached 3 and all of them have been remanded to judicial custody.
