Mangalore, Jul 4: The silver jubilee celebrations of English Yakshagana will be organized by Yakshanandana Panambur in the Town Hall here on Tuesday July 10.

Addressing the presspersons here on Tuesday, July 3,  artiste Prof M L Samaga said that the new concept of performing Yakshagana in English was initiated by advocate and former MLA the late P V Aithal as this was his dream. English Yakshagana has completed its 25 years crossing several barriers of criticism and prejudice.

Brahamakapala, Dakshadhwara, Girijakalyana, Narakasura, Moksha, and Sairandhri-Keechaka are the mythological plots in English that have been performed by Yakshananan troupe.
