Bangalore, Jul 2:  A truck carrying copper scrap near Attibele commercial tax check-post was hijacked by two unidentified miscreants on Saturday June 30 night. The abandoned truck with all it copper scraps materials missing was later found at Sanjay nagar on Sunday, July 1. 
 
As per statement given to the police by the driver of the truck Nagaraj, the incident took place on the Bangalore-Hosur Road at 9.30 pm when Nagaraj had left his truck for a few minutes to the check post for making the entry. The truck was carrying copper worth Rs 40,000. When the driver returned   after making his entry he found his truck missing and so lodged a complaint. On Sunday morning, police managed to track down the truck at Dollar’s Colony in Sanjaynagar. 
 
As per the Attibele police it was possible that the miscreants might have shifted the copper scrap materials to another truck and fled away with the said goods.
