KOOVS.com collaborates with Indian designers Pankaj & Nidhi

New Delhi, Sep 9 (IANS): Online fashion destination KOOVS.com has launched its first ever Indian collaboration with designer duo Pankaj & Nidhi, who are recognized for their fresh sensibilities.

Their line for the online platform is called Pankaj & Nidhi for KOOVS, an exclusive womenswear collection of statement pieces, including dresses, skirts, bombers, crop tops and jumpsuits. The complete line features over 35 styles.

Inspired by their love for ceramic, glass and mirrors, the range focusses on five exclusive prints -- Shattered Glass, Shattered Plates, Pink Plates, House of Cards and Gems.

From exploring the multi-faceted dimensions of shattered surfaces to the bright, sparkly impact of rubies and ornamental borders with card suits, this collection encapsulates myriad elements.

"Our love for reflections formed the basis of this collection. Daintily-painted crockery are laid over in a fish scale pattern; its fragility rendered in a fascinating collage of broken plates.

"The shattered theme extends to glass and mirrors too, almost like facets of diamonds, each shard reflecting light in a different way," said Pankaj Ahuja of the duo.

The line is priced between Rs.1,295 and Rs.2,995, and will be launched on KOOVS.COM on September 30.
