Moodbidri, Jul 2: Mulki-Moodbidri MLA Abhayachandra Jain visited the rain affected areas of Belvai and rendered his help in repairing some houses there on Sunday July 1.
Some houses located in the five cents area at Belvai had been damaged after their roofs were blown away by heavy thunderstorms in the last couple of days. Having visited the place, MLA made immediate arrangements to get them repaired on the spot.
He remained on the spot till the work was over and guided the officials in their work. Belvai panchayat president Raghu Poojary, TP member Vijay and others were also present along with the MLA during the work.
