Spice Girls may reunite: Geri Halliwell

Los Angeles, Sep 9 (IANS): Singer Geri Halliwell says all-girls band Spice Girls are "in talks" to reunite to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut single "Wannabe", in 2016.

On TV show “This Morning”, the 43-year-old singer, known as Ginger Spice in the band, shared that it would be nice to celebrate in some way, reports mirror.co.uk.

"I think it's really flattering that people are so supportive of the Spice Girls individually and collectively. It's one of those things that have been discussed. I think it's nice to celebrate it in some way," Halliwell said.

When one of the show's two hosts prodded her, Halliwell admitted there have been negotiations about a reunion.

"I can say that there's been talks. That's fair and honest," she said.
