Kundapur, Jun 29: A few locals near Navunda have caused inconvenience to the general public by blocking the road which comes under Gram Panchayat (GP) administration, with the alleged past enmity on an educational institution.

The fisheries road lies on the border of Navunda-Kirimanjeshwar villages, located in second ward under Kirimanjeshwar GP, has been in shambles since the past many years.  The road has been used by hundreds of fishermen, students of local educational institution etc.

The road has become muddy since the gravel has been spread on it and as there are no drainages besides the road, water has been flowing on the road.  A few locals had recently dug up the road causing hindrance to traffic.

At the background of verbal complaint by heads of local educational institution with Kirimanjeshwar GP and Byndoor police, GP member Ramachandra, SI Cheluvaraju and others arrived at the site and restored the traffic.
