Kundapur, Jun 29: Vanamahotsava is celebrated on July 5 world-wide. But it was celebrated in advance at Holy Rosary Church here under the auspices of Catholic Sabha of Kundapur unit recently.
Fr Antony Lobo, parish priest of Kundapur church presided over the function and distributed cashew and teakwood saplings to most of the parishioners. Nearly 400 saplings were distributed to the gathering.
