Mangalore, Jun 27: Tulu film industry is ready to set one more milestone with the release ‘Badi’ movie. . The audio cassette of the movie would be released on Saturday June30.

The programme will be held in the Town Hall here and ace Kannada music director Guru Kiran.
 
This was announced in a press conference held here by ‘Badi’ director Richard Castelino on Wednesday June 27.

He further said that well-known Kannada singer Rakesh Krishnan and Ragdev, music director Badi will be felicitated.

Detailing on the schedule of the evening Castelino said that Bhargavi, a noted dance troupe from Udupi would stage entertainment programmes, while ‘Nenapirali’ troupe would present orchestra besides the showcase of Badi songs.

The storyline of the movie is centred on the social evil of dowry. The movie portrays the story of the five families. It also depicts the struggle to uproot the social evil.  Thus the movie is not only meant to entertain but also educate, the whole team opined.
