Mangalore, Jun 26: Rotary club of Mangalore has been awarded with the best Rotary club of the district 3180 under all the four avenues of service. R1 district 3180 comprises of Mysore, Kodagu, Hassan, Chikmagalur, Shimoga, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Chamarajanagar revenue districts.

The award presentation ceremony ‘Sambhrama’ was held Shamili Hall in Udupi. President Prakash Kalbavi along with all the directors received this award on Sunday June 24 from the district governor, Rtn S Sadananda Chatra in the presence of the district awards chairman PDG Rtn Laxminarayan and assistant governor Rtn M Ganesh Kamath.

The club was conferred with following awards:
 In the first place internal expansion, public relations, management of club finance, Rotary information, contribution to Rotary foundation, international understanding, best club under club service, best club under community service, best club under international service, a special recognition for highest per capita contribution to the Rotary Foundation. 

Under second place attendance, club bulletin, Rotary community corps, Rotaract, Interact, drug abuse, medical and health services and under third place matching grants, fellowship, four-way test, youth activities, district projects etc.
