Mangalore, Jun 26: State home secretary has asked Dakshina Kannada SP Satheesh Kumar to provide a detailed report on sinking of Eritrean cargo ship 'DenDen' near Tannirbavi here.

The state secretary who called Satheesh Kumar within 10 minutes of latter assuming his charge on Monday June 26 ordered brief the state government about the mishap, the rescue operations and the follow up.  He has also asked the SP to furnish names of those who died, injured and rescued in the mishap with their nationality.

The new SP is said to have taken immediate measures with the help of ASP Lokesh Kumar who was on the spot guiding the rescue operations on Saturday June 23 when the ship sunk by the shores of Tannirbavi.
