Mangalore, Jun 25: The dalit leaders have raised opposition to the notification sent to Kolunadu anganwadi assistant Sharada by child development project officer (CDPO) of Bantwal taluk for implementing a decree at a gram sabha held on January 24.

At the monthly meeting held to redress grievances of the dalits here on Sunday June 24, the leaders of dalit community termed the move as unjust and said that they will boycott gram sabhas in Kolunadu unless action is taken in this regard.

Sharada had filed a complaint at Vittal police station on Friday June 22 regarding the notice from CDPO.
