BANGALORE, Jun 23: A 12 year old girl was assaulted and raped by a gang of four youths in Banaswadi, on Wednesday evening.

The victim a seventh standard student, had gone out in the evening but didn’t return home till 7.15 pm. Worried the girl’s uncle went to a nearby building, where she was last seen. On reaching the terrace he found her on the second floor of the building alongwith four youths, whose names were given as Ranjit, Dayanand, Vijay and Rubin, who on being spied ran towards the exit.

The girl was found unconscious and immediately shifted to a clinic from where she was again taken to another hospital. The girl later gave a complete narration of the incident.
