Udupi, Jun 20: Heavy rains that have been lashing the district have already resulted in damage to property in several places.  Several low-lying areas have submerged under rain water.

The famous Bappanadu Shree Durgaparameshwari Temple at Mulki near here was marooned on Wednesday June 20.  All the roads leading to the temple were marooned.  Following this devotees visiting the temple had to face a lot of problems.

Even Shri Harihar Temple at Karnad near Mulki was inundated following torrential rains in the area.  On the other hand two more trees fell on the road near Yermal disrupting traffic for long.
