Mangalore, Jun 9: A group of five well-dressed girls are out in the city collecting money from unsuspecting people by telling tales.

It is said that these girls are claiming to be the victims of natural calamities that struck Ranipur in Bihar. But it is suspected that their appearance speaks vise versa, and they are in the city from five days.

They trap the pedestrians on busy streets at K S Rao Road and outside posh restaurants in the city. Taking advantage of their charming beauty and persuasive powers on the pedestrians specifically men, they mange to collect anywhere between Rs 20 and Rs 100 or even more.

It is not known to anyone actually where the girls come from and where they are located in the city. But the surprising thing is that these well dressed beggars are found dining in the some posh restaurants too.

Sources say that such groups of girls fist appeared in Moodbidri and when this was brought to the notice of SP Dayanand he said that he was not aware of this and he will look in to this very soon.
