Kundapur, Jun 6: Local fishermen laid a siege to the office of assistant commissioner here recently demanding him to provide them with benefits of BPL ration cards.
Responding to the agitation especially that of the fishermen community, S A Prabhakar Sharma, assistant commissioner assured them to set right the irregularities found in the distribution of BPL ration cards and grant them facilities which come under BPL ration card.
