Mangalore, Jun 6: The department of Biotechnology and Chemistry in P A College of Engineering here has been recognized as a research centre by the Visveswaraya Technology University (VTU) for 2007-08.

The department of Biotechnology and Chemistry has highly qualified guides like Dr Asif Hussain, Dr Anaul Kabeer and Dr N Krishna Prasad, said a media release issued by the college. 

The release further states that candidates can sign up for M Sc Engineering and Ph. D from July 2007. Besides, candidates can enroll themselves for courses like PG and CET that will be conducted by VTU.

P A College of Engineering is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Visveswaraya Technological University.
