Mangalore, Jun 4: The Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Mangalore recently held its Students Council Investiture Ceremony for the year 2007-2008. New members took up different posts in the three bodies - The Main Students Council (UG) and also the KMC Interns and PG Associations. 

Dean Pro CV Raghuveer and associate deans Dr Venkatraya Prabhu and Dr  Anand Kini along with HoDs and professors of various departments were present at the function to encourage and give words of wisdom to the new council members. 

The deputy director of students sffairs, Dr MC Hedge administered the Oath to the newly selected office-bearers.

The KMC (Under Graduate) Students council members this year are: Rakshit Prasad (President), Rhema Sundaram (Lady Representative), Vivek Shetty( General Secretary), Arush Kalra (Joint-secretary), Savio Mathew (Fine Arts Secretary), Novinth Kumar (Sports Secretary), Shenthol Sasankan (Magazine Editor) and Mrinal Shetty (Physiotherapy Representative).

The KMC Interns Council members for this year are: Dr Kirthinath Ballal (President), Dr Julie Misquith (Lady Representative), Dr Suraj Hegde (General Secretary) and Dr Vivek Kumar (Sports Secretary). 

The Post-graduate Students Council members for this year are: Dr Anubhav Garg (President), Dr Veena Pinto (Lady Representative), Dr Vibhor (General Secretary) and Dr Rojas Mathew (Sports Secretary).
