Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (KD)

Udupi, Jun 2: In preparation for the 74th All India Cultural Convention that will be held in the city in October, an emblem will be released and a welcome committee will be formed on Sunday June 3 here.

It has been decided that the office will be operating from Dr  T M A Pai College Gurubhavan and district minister in-charge Dr V S Acharya will inaugurate the office. Later, a programme will be held in  Madhav Mandir.

Reception committee honorary president K K Pai will preside over the function. MLA Raghupati Bhat, D C Ponnuraj and organizing committee members will be present, said reception committee general secretary and Karnataka Cultural Committee District president Uppunda Chandrashekar.

An informative book on the writers of the district will be released on behalf of All-India Cultural Convention.

A request was made to all that if they are aware of such writers in the city or who belong to the city, to send their full details.  The same should be addressed to The General Secretary, Reception committee, Dr T M A Pai College, Kanjubettu,  Udupi 576 102.
