Panaji, May 27 (11-45 pm IST): When almost 60% of the Goan population was busy in the election duties at party and government level..an unexpected shower gave the Goans the much-needed relief from the scorching summer heat.

North Goa experienced more of the showers compared to South Goa. Though it was the first rainfall, it had its share of mischief by affecting normal life.

According to the meteorological department, Goa will get its regular rainfall from the first week of June onwards.
