Mangalore, May 24: BJP would destroy entire Ullal constituency if it adopts this constituency, said Janardhan Poojari, former president of Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee.

He was speaking at a press conference organized at the Press Club on Thursday May 24.

“An analysis is necessary to know as who converted the youth of backward communities into criminals. Making a provocative speech is an easy task. But working for the welfare of the communities is not an easy task,” he opined.

BJP is not aware of the history of Congress. Hence, it is criticizing Congress without any base. Better, it should learn the history of Congress, he said.

Chief minister H D Kumaraswami is blaming that state finance department is not cooperating with the development of the state. Deputy CM Yadiyurappa is heading the finance department. This effectively means that all is not well between these parties.  Hence, Yadiyurappa should resign from his post, he demanded.

“Kumaraswami is also blaming that the officers are not working properly. But he should keep in mind that, officers in Karnataka are the most efficient officers than any states in the country. The only thing is that Kumaraswami lacks leadership quality and proper direction. Hence, he is only assuring and not doing any work,” Poojari blamed.

Former MLA Vijaykumar Shetty, Congress leaders Harikrishna Bantwal and Kallige Taranath Shetty were present at the press conference.
