Daijiworld Media Network- Udupi (SM)

Udupi, May 23: Manipal University is now set to launch BBM course in e-banking and finance. It is a three-year course which will be offered at Manipal institute of Management from this academic year that is 2007-08.

In a stretch of six semesters, this course will cover topics like banking technology, organizational behaviours, insurance services, marketing management, retail banking, corporate governance, business ethics, E-business, web design, accounting package, stand-alone computer system and core banking.

Along with this it also includes summer projects which are based on groups, for the students studying in the fifth semester. The students will have practical experience in public sector, foreign and new generation banks, who will be the channel partners in the programme.
