Mangalore, May 21: The foundation stone laying of ‘Golden Age Village’ with ‘Vishwas Gruha’, will be held on Friday May 25, at Fermai near here. The project has been initiated by Vishwas Trust. ‘Golden Age Village’ will be an assisted living residence for the elderly.

This was announced at a press meet held here on Monday May 21. The foundation stone will be blessed by Fr Denis Prabhu, vicar general, diocese of Mangalore. Oscar Fernandes, union minister for labour, will lay the foundation stone.

Olinda Pereira, founder, Vishwas, Audrey Pinto, chairperson and Winston D’Souza,  managing trustee, were present at the press meet.
