'Raees' teaser unveils SRK's liquor baron look

Mumbai, July 17 (IANS): After sharing the first look of "Raees" as an Eid offering for his fans, superstar Shah Rukh Khan made it a double treat by also unveiling a teaser of the Rahul Dholakia directorial.

SRK himself took to micro-blogging website Twitter and shared a link to the "Raees" teaser, saying: "Day off in Bulgaria. Hav lil to do except teasing u all. The Raees teaser. http://bit.ly/1KaliUT hope u lik it".

The 66-second teaser starts with the sound of beer bottles rolling on the asphalt and ends with Shah Rukh saying, "Aa raha hun".

SRK is seen sporting 'surma' (kohl) in his eyes, a taweez (amulet) around his neck, a stubble and abundant attitude.

Away from the conventional romantic hero role, the 'Bollywood badshah' looks like he just means 'business' in the film. He even says: "Dhande se bada koi dharm nahi hota, ab yehi mera kalma hai aur yehi mera mazhab."

He also mouths the line “Baniye ka dimaag aur Miyanbhai ki daring”, which first featured on one of the posters of the film that he shared on Thursday.

The 49-year-old actor also took the opportunity to thank all his cast and crew from the film and tweeted: "Also as I am on a roll...want to thank Rahul, Ritesh, Farhan, Mohannan, Ravi, Nawazuddin Mahira Zeeshan Arunima Maneka & whole team of Raees."

Dholakia's film is set in 1980s Gujarat, and tells the story of a bootlegger whose business is thwarted by a tough policeman. The film also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and marks the Bollywood debut of Pakistani actress Mahira Khan.

The film is produced by Excel Entertainment and Red Chillies Entertainment.

Shah Rukh is currently in Bulgaria to shoot Rohit Shetty's "Dilwale", in which he is reuniting with Kajol for the big screen.
