Mangalore, May 19: ‘Corpcompassion’, a feature rich savings bank account was launched by Corporation Bank here, on Friday May 18. The product was launched by H N Sinor, chief executive, Indian Banks’ Association.
Speaking on the occasion, B Sambamurthy, chairman and managing director, Corporation Bank, said that bank would donate Rs 10 to the underprivileged for every new account opened under ‘CorpCompassion’.
While aiming at social service through this new product, the bank will also contain all the hi-tech features like Any Branch Banking, Multi-city Cheque Facility, Personalized Cheque Facility, Internet Banking Facility, SMS Banking, Tele Banking, Term Insurance at low premium, he said.
