Indian filmmakers join hands with Craig Conway

Mumbai, July 15 (IANS): Indian film producers Sheetal and Bhavna Talwar's WSG Entertainment and Vistaar have joined hands with British actor-producer Craig Conway to produce a psychological thriller titled "The Myth of Hopelessness".

The film, starring British actor Mel Raido and actress Morjana Alaoui of "Martyrs" fame, will be helmed by Shaun Robert Smith and will commence filming later this month. It is being looked at for a release in 2016 and will feature music from the acclaimed band Hyde & Beast.

A psychological thriller based on actual events, the film follows the story of a young Parisian woman - Evie, who absconds to England to make a fresh start after surviving a harrowing upbringing.

"We found the perfect partners in Vistaar, Goldfinch and WSG. Both, Shaun and myself are looking forward to embarking on this journey and are confident that this film will be accepted by the audience," Conway said in a statement.

While Sheetal and Conway will jointly produce the film, the project will see Kirsty Bell and National Award winning director Bhavna, take on the role of executive producer.

"We stand committed to producing quality content and 'The Myth of Hopelessness' is a wonderful example of that. We are excited to be working with Shaun and Craig on this and hope this marks the first of many collaborations with them," Sheetal, managing director, Vistaar said.
