Mangalore, May 16: Mata Mahila Mandali and district department of Handicap Welfare will be organizing an awareness camp for physically-challenged in association with Lions Club of Krishnapura Katipalla at Krishna Bhajana Mandir here on Wednesday May 16.
Addressing the press persons here on Tuesday May 15, Mahila Mandali president Sujatha M Shetty said that the camp has been organized to create awareness among the physically challenged, on various schemes provided by the government for their welfare.
District Handicap Welfare Department director Putta Swamy would preside over the programme.
President of Lions Club of Krishnapur Katipalla Padmanabha Shetty, Krishna Bhajana Mandir president Padbanabha Putran and district congress committee minority cell president Moideen Bava will be the chief guest.
