Kundapur, May 13: Two persons died and another two injured in a road accident at Beejadi cross on Sunday May 13 evening.

The victims have been identified as Suresh (45), a Kasaragod resident and owner of Sirigannada Printing Press and ice candy vendor Dharmaraya Kamath of Koteshwar (50).

Sources said that the collision took place between an Maruti Alto car and a lorry. With the impact of collision, the car in turn hit the ice candy vendor Dharmaraya Kamath, who was passing by.

This resulted in the spot death of car owner Suresh and ice candy vendor and injury of two persons.

The injured persons have been identified as Venugopal, who was in the car and Ravi, a pedestrian, who was walking at the spot.

A case has been registered at Kundapur police station.
