New Delhi, June 26 (IANS): After a cloudy morning, it was a sunny and clear day in the national capital on Friday with the maximum temperature settling at 36.8 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average. Saturday will have cloudy skies and some areas may see rain.
"The skies will be cloudy on Saturday. Light rainfall and thundershowers will occur in some areas," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 37 and 23 degrees Celsius, respectively.
Friday morning was cloudy with the minimum temperature settling at 24 degrees Celsius, four notches below the season's average.
Thursday's maximum temperature was recorded at 30.8 degrees Celsius, seven notches below the season's average, while the minimum was 22.4 degrees Celsius, six notches below the season's average.
