Actor Sanjit Bedi, Dr Omi From TV Show Sanjivani, Dies


June 24,(NDTV): Television actor Sanjit Bedi, who was reportedly battling a brain ailment, died in a Mumbai hospital on June 23. The actor, best known for his role as Dr Omi on TV Show Sanjivani, was believed to have been in a coma for some time.

He is survived by his wife.

Mr Bedi had appeared on several TV shows produced by Balaji such as Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka and Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

The actor's last rites took place in Mumbai's Chandanwadi Crematorium on Wednesday morning.
