Sushma's sister sworn in Haryana Public Service Commission member


Chandigarh, June 12 (IANS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's sister Vandana Sharma and Kulbir Chhikkara, editor of Hindi daily "Hari Bhoomi" owned by Haryana Finance Minister Capt Abhimanyu, on Friday took oath as members of the Haryana Public Service Commission.

Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki administered the oath of office and secrecy to them at a ceremony here.

These were the first constitutional appointments by the seven-month-old Manohar Lal Khattar government.

Sushma Swaraj's sister unsuccessfully contested her debut assembly elections in October 2014 from Safidon constituency. She lost to an independent candidate.
