'Siyappa Ishq Ka' to explore 'craziness in love'

New Delhi, June 10 (IANS): "Siyappa Ishq Ka", the second season of TV show “Yeh Hai Aashiqui", will portray the emotional journey that follows the sentiment of love, says host Rithvik Dhanjani.

“‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ has become a part of who I am. As the narrator, I get to experience each story up, close and personal and go through the same range of emotions as the characters,” Rithvik said here at the show's launch on Tuesday evening.

Launched with a live performance of the title track “Yeh Hai Aashiqui”, composed by Abhishek Arora and his troupe, Rithvik joined in to the beats, beautifully woven together by the band here.

Dhanjani explained that the show, which will air on Bindass channel starting June 20, talks about how people who try to stay away from love and skirt the “falling in love” situation, eventually fall in love and how.

Each episode will explore the range of emotions which are part and parcel of love, such as the confusion, the dilemma that follows, the mental chaos and the moment when all makes sense.

“The first season showcased the most unique love stories that beat all odds and emerged triumphant. In the second season, all our ‘Yeh Hai Aashiqui’ fans will get a taste of all the craziness that comes with falling in love.

“The madness will bring out the different versions of love, which will continue to strike a chord with our fans,” said Vijay Subramaniam, vice president, content and communication, Media Networks, Disney India.
