Three militants killed in Pakistan shootout


Islamabad, June 7 (IANS): Three militants were killed in a shootout with security forces in Pakistan’s Balochistan province, media reported on Sunday.

According to security sources, the Frontier Corps (FC) and other security troops launched a large-scale search operation in Johan and Burg areas of Mastung district, leading to an exchange of fire between the militants and security forces, Geo news reported.

The troops were assisted by eight helicopters.

During the shootout, three militant camps were also destroyed.
