Delhi rejects Uber's application to ply


New Delhi, June 3 (IANS): The Delhi government on Wednesday rejected an application by app-based taxi company Uber to ply cabs in the city, Transport Minister Gopal Rai said.

The US-based taxi provider was banned following the rape of a woman by a driver in December last year.
