'Dil Dhadakne Do' crew meets Milkha Singh


Chandigarh, June 1 (IANS): The team of "Dil Dhadakne Do" met former Olympian Milkha Singh here on Monday.

In a photograph shared by actress Priyanka Chopra on micro-blogging website Twitter, the film's cast, comprising Anil Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Shefali Shah, Priyanka and director Zoya Akhtar could be seen with the Flying Sikh and his family.

The stars shared the news with their fans through their Twitter accounts.

Farhan wrote: "Happy times at Milkha-ji's home. Came first in the paratha eating competition! Thank you Nimmi Aunty & @SoniaMilkha (sic)."

Priyanka shared on Instagram: "Full fan girl moment thank u faroutakhtar for taking us to meet #MilkhaSingh #Augtograph #StarStruck. To be amongst greatness and c such an achiever shine the way #MilkhaSingh does..makes me so inspired.. Wanna do more."

"Dil Dhadakne Do" revolves around relationships. It narrates the story of a dysfunctional Punjabi family and how they discover love and friendship during a cruise across the Mediterranean.

Also starring Anushka Sharma, the film is slated to release on June 5.
