The Met Office has forecast a clear day ahead.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 42 degrees Celsius.
"The sky will be clear in the day. The maximum temperature for the day is likely to hover around 42 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 39 percent.
Friday was hot with the maximum temperature settling at 42.1 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 27 degrees Celsius, normal for the season's average.
