Mumbai, May 28: Representing cosmetic brand L'Oreal, actress Sonam Kapoor waltzed on to the red carpet in an Elie Saab couture gown that was covered in feathers or ruffles and that in turn went on to garner the actress a lot of names on the Internet.

Wearing it at the premier of the movie "Inside Out", Sonam tweeted a photo of how the dress was made fun of by people with the comment, "This is hilarious.. #photo credit #mtvindia P. S. I felt like a princess just so you kno… http://ift.tt/1HMSJJd " Called Omellete, duster and a slew of other names at the overflowing dress, the actress remained unperturbed.

She matched the light yellow gown with hot pink Choppard jewellery and L'oreal lipstick of a similar shade as the jewellery. The actress was seen attired in the creations of both Indian as well as international designers. She dazzled everyone in a electric blue Ralph and Russo gown, and then in a powder pink bodycon dress by Ulyana Sergeenko and a ruffle sari by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.

Talking about her journey thus far at the annual international star-studded event, Sonam had said, "It's my fifth year at Cannes. I've been with L'oreal for seven years now, and I super excited to be a part of this family and I hope for 10 years at Cannes eventually. This has been an amazing and incredible journey. The make-up's getting better, the shoes are getting higher, the gowns are getting more extravagant and the photographers are way more. Everything is just bigger, better and more glamorous."

Sonam is back from the star studded event and shooting for her next venture - Neerja Bhanot.
