New Delhi, May 24 (IANS): President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday extended greetings to the government and people of Argentina on the eve of the Latin American country's s national day.
In his message to Argentina President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner, Mukherjee said: "On behalf of the government and the people of India, it gives me great pleasure to convey to you warm greetings on the occasion of the national day of Argentina."
"India and Argentina enjoy friendly relations -- which in recent years have strengthened in a number of areas. I am confident that our relations will assume greater depth in the coming years," Mukherjee said in a statement issued here.
